He's a keeper!

Chris just passed his final exam with flying colours after weeks of studying! Clever, clever boy. Clever doesn't even cover it, he's just absolutely brilliant and seems to succeed at whatever he sets his mind to. I'm so proud of my fella! :D

Now one of his professors at uni said there might be a good chance that he can get him a paid PhD position ( Read more... )

Heh, definitely cut, I'd say. I seriously prefer him on the very first picture. There he looks like a man to me, while on the very last one like a falied rock star. To me. I understand you see it differently, and HE sees it differently, but heh, in my opinion he's better off without all that hair.

Well, your opinion's no use to me, you know we've got a completely different taste in men. :P

Hehe, just kidding! Of course I value your opinion, and you're not entirely wrong about the rockstar thing... except I actually find that kind of thing attractive, so y'know! But yeah, I reckon I prefer it mid-length, because the really long hair mainly fails because being a boy, my boy doesn't care to or know how to style in properly. *snerk*

Although, different as our preferences may be, short hair that is gelled up at the front = manly? Really? Really? XD

You're absolutely right, we do have such a different taste in men that I've always considered it a blessing, you know. We never liked the same guys, and we'll never fight over one, either.
But about the manly thing. On that picture with the short hair, the very first one, he looks like a young MAN. On the very last one, though, he looks like an unworldly CREATURE that has lost its way into our universe and wouldn't know how to handle its life. That long hair makes him look to me like half a step from a total failure. So excuse me if I think the short hair looks manlier than the last.
Mind you, I'm not against long hair in men in general. But looking at these pictures, that's what I think.

Fair enough, it's just that most guys I know with their hair short and gelled up at the front are gay. Mind you, his whole family thought he was gay before he met me. *lol*

Thinking about it now, I don't care if the hair's long or not. It just has to be messy. Unruly. I love unruly hair, me. (On men and women.)

I'm afraid I like it no longer than about 2004-length, and I think he looks really cute in the first 2003 picture. Keeping the cut full / layered and the length at cheekbone height or shorter emphasizes his cheekbones (which, um,.. GUH) and keeps it away from his jaw, which looks a little too narrow w/ the long hair pointing out the length of his face.

BTW, you need to register that boy's eyes as deadly weapons, I'm pretty sure. *falz over, ded*

You know, I think I agree with you on all accounts! Including the eyes... ;) T'was what I first noticed and fell in love with all these years ago.

And that first 2003 picture? That was me, going: "And now, look sexy! ... Wow. o__o Yeah, just like that." XD
