Yeah, I'm back (again! with a vengeance!Once again, I've been an horrible lj-er and month-old comments aren't answered. Argh! Sorry. I've been alternatively ill again and desperately trying to do the things I should have done at work and at home while I was ill ( Read more... )

Hi! <3

Oh wow, fantastic special design invitation! Your sister must be very pleased :D

And yay for sketching! I hope the comm can help inspire more people to draw on an everyday basis - I am so happy I started my sketchbook diary and really try to hold myself to drawing something in it every day - it makes me happy. :)

hello! <3

You know, we spent a great deal of time with my sister dreaming of all the little mad things we could do with that invite, so that in the end I find the final result a bit, well, plain (and rushed). But I still think she liked it and it was a lot of fun to do!

This sketching comm is a great idea. It already made me draw some more (a couple of the cat sketches are from yesterday). I don't think I'll be able to draw every day because there's that nasty thing called work, but I definitely want to sketch more! When the warm days are back, I'm sort of dreaming to do something like a travel sketchbook, only without the travel part, going around our place and in the next little town or in the hills and telling stories with graphite or watercolour sketches. We'll see how far I manage to go with that!

And I still admire your dedication to your sketchbook :)

Oh, a local travel sketchbook sounds like a wonderful idea! If I didn't live in such a boring neighbourhood I'd do one myself, heh. :D

I'm so pleased that the comm is inspiring people to do more sketching, and tickled pink to have a chance to look into their sketchbooks (or sketch-non-books, whichever you prefer). Art=<3

Aw, thank you!

I'm really sorry this IVF didn't work. It's so hard to go though so much and have so much hope only to see it fail! I hope you both will manage to feel a bit better soon. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the next attemps!

I saw your post about what's next in your LJ, about adoption and all. Franck an I are feeling a bit the same although we still have two attempts. Age (and money) would be a problem with adopting, and it still feels very hard only to begin to think of being child free (not sure I like this expression!) for ever.

The cats are amazing! I wish I could draw cats so well.

Thanks a lot!

I guess I see the cats so often around us (and on the keyboard, and trying to spread on the paintings I'm doing, and on my arm when I'm trying to tape, and everywhere really!) that it's gotten easier to draw them :)

Hello you! <3

I'll try to keep on being back ;) It feel harder than before to keep on interacting around here, though people are still as wonderful as ever.

I'm glad you liked the painting :)
