And even,

happy birthday,

Celestialsoda!

Soda, you're courageous, talented, artistic, beautiful (and yes, definitely hot!), heroic, clever, and a wonderful friend! And I'm really glad I met you here in LJ. I hope this birthday is a great one, and wish you many, many happy returns!

Have some glasses for your birthday!

Ooooh, Hélène, I LOVE this. They both look so HAPPY, and I adore Lily's little snub nose and the mass of hair and the line of her collarbones and her foot, and James' expression against Lily's neck and the line of his fingers under Lily's knickers and the curls disappearing into his jeans, and just...YAYE. Love it. ♥

Thank you, Anj! ♥

I think I really imagine these two as really happy people, until the end. And I'm glad you liked them :D

AWWW! It's adorable! Their bodies are fabulously drawn and the watercolors are so delicate and very appropriately rendered. Such a beautiful gift for her!

Thanks so much! You know, I'm really glad the bodies turned out right. I definitely lack practice for women's bodies :D

I love the way you draw bare breasts. Lily's hair is a little bit too "shampoo commercial" compared to the rest of the picture (which feels more 'real'), but that's it for concrit. I love that James has glasses appropriate for the era, and the way his pants are unbuttoned but not off, and that he has chest hair (which isn't a particular thing for me - but it's another nice 'realism'), and have I mentioned Lily's beautiful breasts? :D

Thanks so much! I had planned to give Lily smaller breasts, and then it sort of happened :) And yeah, I was also carried away with the hair - I really must be more careful when I draw red hair!
