Yesterday my girl and I watched the new 2011 version of Jane Eyre

I'm sorry to say we didn't like it at all! Obviously *tries not to think to severus snape while saying obviously* we expected something new, a new way to tell the story.....but the main matter is THERE WASN'T CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERS!!! I agree with you, I didn't really like the 2011 version, I thought they didn't have chemistry as well... My fav version is the BBC 2006 one with Ruth Wilson and Toby Stevens! Their chemistry is off the roof, it's such a sexy version! <3

Yes, it'a 4 part tv series! You should totally check it out, I really think it's worth it! :)

Io ho amato molto tutte e due le versioni. Nel primo mi è piaciuto tanto l'interpretazione di Michael Fassbender, nell'altro quella di Charlotte. Il nuovo film lo trovo più fedele al libro, specie il ruolo di Rochester, comunque il primo rimane sempre un capolavoro. :)

Interpretazioni a parte (quelle dipendono dagli attori), mi sa che devo davvero rileggere il libro! ricordavo che quello più fedele fosse il primo (1996), ma qui tutti mi dite che invece è quello nuovo (2011)...urge una rilettura! :p

Strano, a me la nuova versione è piaciuta un sacco, anche perchè è fedelissima al libro. Anche quella vecchia mi piace, però Rochester interpretato da Fassbeneder è una cosa meravigliosa! E poi comunque, la cosa che il loro rapporto è un po' freddo è come nel libro... Boh a me è piaciuto, sarà questione di gusti! :)

sisi...lo so...però, per esempio, c'è una scena in cui Jane apre la porta e si immagina che lui entri e la baci....ecco, non c'era "chimica" neppure in quella singola scena!!!!!!!!!

sarà questione di gusti!
