Joss Whedon Birthday Party at French Quarter Cafe
Join Whedonites United and The Secret Commonwealth at the French Quarter Cafe, to celebrate Joss Whedon's Birthday!
Whedonites United is a group of Middle Tennessee fans of writer/director Joss Whedon, of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firely fame. In true Firefly fashion, they're throwing this Shindig with the help of The Secret Commonwealth, a band that has performed Celtic music in Middle Tennessee for more than 17 years now and has a strong local following.
The party will be June 24th, 7pm-10pm. The cover is $5, and includes one ticket for the raffle drawing. Purchase of food and drink available at the Cafe will help show our appreciation.
This is one of several run-up events for WhedonFest 2010, Whedonites United's weekend-long convention August 6th - 8th, and 50% of the proceeds from this show will go to charities supported by WhedonFest. Both The Secret Commonwealth and Whedonites United will have merchandise available, and you can purchase extra raffle tickets if desired.
