 there was a point in my life where I thought my parents were invicible. Nothing could ever possibly hurt me because my parents were perfect, at least in my eyes. This was true for every authority figure i had known as a child, grandparents, teachers, etc

Realization isn't always a pleasant thing, but it's necessary for everyone, and especially for those who are the children of someone in order to better understand themselves, now and in the long run.
