Thank you.  I'm way outside my box with this, so I'm really glad that it seems to have turned out well.

Oh shivery, thinky good. What would happen if part of him got ingested by a sentient creature? Would he be able to take it over? Alternatively, would he eventually become the world itself, scattered into infinity and infinitely aware. And lastly, be careful what you wish for. Malicious gods may actually grant them. Wonderful stuff.

Heh, yeah, now I wonder.  I didn't set out to raise those kinds of questions, but they sort of came up as I was writing.  What if somebody planted a garden in Hidan-saturated dirt?  Would they grow malignant self-aware vegetables?  Would a person ating those vegetables be enough to give Hidan a means to control that person?  Would he be able to 'migrate' his consciousness into a new 'host' body this way?  Would he ever be able to reconstitute his own body from his digested bits if he could manage to gather all of it somehow?

Glad you enjoyed this, and thanks for the feedback.  ^_^

Damn, that is intense. I hadn't really thought too much about what the sensations of his dissolution would be like, and I think you captured how agonizing it would be, both physically and mentally.

Thanks.  I started this with the intention that it would just be about his rage and inability to do anything to correct his situation, but as I was writing it just sort of evolved into this.  It would be a really horrible way to exist, imho.  ^_^;;
