With that in mind, it was perhaps not so odd to see her walking down the halls of T&I with a look on her face that clearly meant a long and painful death for whosoever decided to get stupid and so much as ask her about it. However, to those that cared to watch her a little more closely would notice, they might notice the slight edge in her usual blank gaze, or the way her jaw was set, or the stiffness in her walk ( ... )

But when she saw the bottle of shochu set down, she grinned at the other woman, showing sharp teeth.
"Thanks, but I had some alreeady."

"Suit yourself then," she replied evenly enough. She tipped the bottle back, taking a healthy gulp for herself before taking a seat on the metal chair and leaning back, bottle of shochu dangling loosely from her fingers.
She licked at her lips, tongue roughly passing over the scar there, as she regarded the women quietly.
"Rumor has it you like it here," Ibiko began in even tones. Dark, narrow eyes glanced around the small room disinterestedly. "Can't imagine why."

She shrugged and looked evenly at the other woman. Better play nice; she didn't want to get Kakami, who for some reason had saved her, into trouble. Still, it unnerved her. Since when did she give anything up? Kakami was the only one that she had lost to in life, and even when defeat was imminent, she had refused to surrender.
But there was also the matter of that woman. She grit her teeth at the thought. Haku. And there was that strange block in her mind.
So she shrugged again and stared. "It's better than Hell."
