Shizuya didn't often get a chance to "hit the town", so to speak, especially not now when times were considerably more dire. But Tsurude had practically thrown him out the Palace, yelling all sorts of things like, "Get out for the love of Konoha, one of us should!" and "The hell happened to Tonton's food?" (the last one is sort of irrelevant though, but whatever).
Plus, Rin was out of the hospital and supposedly good as new if not getting there, and seemed fully content on holding up his part of the deal Shizuya'd forced on him some days ago.
And, well, he didn't need telling twice.
Currently, he was working on his fourth glass-- actually, three point seven, and the fact that he could still do this sort of analyzing was proof enough that he had many more glasses to go.
He half-turned to the man beside him and, in the most sorrowful way he could, said, "You'll forgive me, then, when I drink you to poverty?"
