The tall, intimidating-looking woman shifted during one of her and Haku's short rests. (They didn't need them, but the longer they were away from Orochimayu, the better--no doubt, she would punish Zabuya when she learned of her lie.) She stared at the ground, thinking of the men she had sent ahead. She had foolishly hoped that Orochimayu would spare them after seeing the size of the bounty, but no more. She knew better now, and in the future she would guard the bounties herself and bring them to their master

Though it worked last time, there was something different this time. She was not standing in the way of an attack aimed at Zabuya-san.
She slowly turned as Sachiko approached, and then all of a sudden-
She had Sachiko's wrist in her hand, looking up at the girl (still just as she was at 14, after all. Now Sachiko was taller than her) as she deftly deflected the attack by moving Sachiko's wrist to the far left.
"That trick won't work a second time." Haku commented, as surprising as it was that the Uchiha had managed it, she faced this once before. With surprising strength from her small frame, Haku yanked on the arm in her hold, pulling Sachiko to the ground, only to let go and send two needles to the back of the Uchiha's knees before she hit the ground. They'd numb them for a few minutes once removed, just enough time...
"..." Kakami didn't answer for a moment. Behind her, she could hear Haku along with Sakurai and Sachiko.
Well...it looked like a fight at least. And Kakami remembered the past fights. Zabuya was a very difficult opponent. She might mock Kakami's use of the Sharingan but wasn't interested in a fair fight. She wanted to make sure the three of them got out of here safely.
Once the Sharingan was revealed, Kakami rushed forward, already preforming a jutsu. She wasn't going to give Zabuya any time.
"Hmph. As always..." Zabuya rushed into a mist-concealment jutsu as she watched the other woman run forward. She then drew her sword and rushed forward to parry. As she did so, she uttered a curse, directed at the woman that was making her do this. "Dammit!"
"Still the same, Kakami? And here I was, thinking that you'd train for something like this," Zabuya smirked, keeping her eyes as well as ears open. "We'll get what we want out of this."
"Zabuya-san." Haku called out to her master just then. Perfect timing.
The pink-haired one was unconscious with two needles in his neck, slung over Haku's shoulder like a sack of rice. "Perhaps we should make a hasty exit at this time."
Zabuya eyed the younger woman. "Ah. Excellent work, Haku." Turning to Kakami, she stated, "Well, it's a pity we don't have more time, but as you can see, we have to go." She looked over at Haku again. "Let's go."

She knew she should've told Sakurai to stay back, but it was too late now. Sachiko will just have to fight on her own.
As she neared the slim girl, she readied the Chidori and aimed for her abdomen, avoiding Sakurai's head.
