Honestly, Hinaji hadn't expected Kiba for a little while yet. He'd been planning to meet her at the compound gates and escort her in, but she'd done a fine job finding him on her own. He blushed at her greeting and moved aside to let her in, closing the door behind her.

"...Hey." Trying to be a gentleman, he offered her the bed to sit on, lacking any other real furniture. "...How're you feeling?" And then, belated. "Happy Valentine's Day, Kiba-chan."

Kiba murmured a thank you and flopped onto the bed, wiggling the bag in her hand a little bit. When Enka appeared, she pulled out a small treat, feeding it to the tiny pup and rubbing her head lightly. Smiling faintly, she looked up again and offered out the bag to Hinaji. "Treats. For Enka."

She carefully pulled her sandals off and tucked her feet close to her, before she answered. "...happy valentine's day to you too, Hinaji. And I'm okay." She smiled a bit to him. "You?"

Enka, despite being nearly a year old, was still rather tiny. Hinaji always figured she was just a runt, but her smallness didn't bother him. The puppy was playful and loving as always, and happily flopped up on Kiba as she took the treat.

Hinaji smiled at both of them and moved over to sit beside Kiba on the bed. "I'm glad you're alright." He paused. "...It's good to see you."

Kiba happily allowed Enka into her lap, rubbing under her chin as the puppy munched. Once Hinaji sat down, she unashamedly leaned against him, needing the contact right now. In the back of her head, she realized that she probably should have done this a bit sooner, but now was better then never. Being here, in his room (she'd never been here before) she felt... safe, and calm down for once. Felt actual emotions again.

A smile curled her lips, and her free hand reached out to take his. "... s'good to see you too. M'sorry it took me so long."
