OMG, you guys. If you haven't seen "The Secret of Moonacre", you need to go to the family section of Blockbuster right now and get it. It's seriously a gorgeous film, but there's something... really sexy about it, for a kid's movie. Robin keeps throwing Maria around, calling her "witch." Geez. Having grown UP around that, as the child of a Presbyterian minister, I FEEL YOUR PAIN. People who KNOW who my parents are still talk to me like I've got no clue about Christianity. The son in NY, was it that he was in an EVIL CITY or that he moved to this den of sin WITH A GIRL, and is therefore LIVING IN SIN.
I could go on all night with things my mother has said that boggle the mind. But I won't. :) I am happy with my perfectly logical blend of organic Christ-follower who hasn't forgotten the Old Ways. :)
