Crowd also amusing; as wyrdone put it there was a younger, Roanoke-based DG sitting behind us. :) Always heartwarming to hear intelligent banter from the younguns and see the grandstanding young man wearing too many scarves and a tophat getting some love.

Headed off to Seattle, Vancouver, and points north, starting this Tuesday. Sent donations to Red Cross today, go me. (Donating blood is too ...politically icky for me to get into. I do check their rules to make sure they haven't gotten less stupid every time I see my type in particular go up on blood drives.
