If OOC, What Changes Are You Making?: This Hinata is not shy, timid, or nearly as kind as IC Hinata. She’s confident, sarcasticly witty, and tends to be rather critical. Since she managed to develop her Byakugan at a young age and showed quite some potential, the position as heiress of the clan is hers. And she’s happy about it.

Something is very wrong here. Why, you ask? Well, I think I just saw someone who looks exactly like me pass by. No, I don’t think I did. I know I did.

If OOC, What Changes Are You Making?: This Naruto is one smart cookie. He can be ditzy and is normally quite funny, but he is also well-known for his smarts. The most notable difference, though, is that he wears no orange. His favorite color is red and wears a red and black training uniform at most times.
First Post Example: Besides the fact that I seem to have been launched into an alternate dimension, things are just plain confusing today. I went to see Sasuke to give him an update on our upcoming mission's status, which Tsunade changed, again,and was given a cold shoulder the likes of which I've never experienced in my life. I mean, I know Sasuke can get grumpy occasionally, but come on. Is the Requested Character IC, DIC or OOC?: (What's DIC? Not familiar with that.) Alternate timeline OOC.
If OOC, What Changes Are You Making?: In one version of Konoha's past, the ledgendary sannin was not caught experimenting on his fellow villagers due to extended inter-village warring which provided him with all the bodies he needed and the distraction to keep attention off of him. Sarutobi, feeling the weight of age and wishing to retire, had not chosen Jiraiya's preternaturally clever student as the Fourth, deeming him too young and reckless to hold the village together during wartime, and instead, with the backing of the council, had passed the title of Hokage on to Orochimaru ( ... )

Comments/Questions:
There are somethings that need clarification, simply because I'm screwing with the whole timeline.
Jiraiya and Tsunade: Remained in Konoha both because of the continued battles (which Orochimaru orchestrated, feeling that Konoha would lean more heavily on him in times of war, willing to overlook his...oddities...in favor of his power), and to keep an eye on their slippery teammate.
The kyuubi: By the time the kyuubi attacked, Orochimaru had completed his immortality jutsu, which is how he survived the fight with the fox. (Which he confronted fearlessly, not because of any particular concern for the villagers-- though even he realizes that his base of power rests on the very people he looks down on and thinks so little of-- but because he couldn't resist the challege.) The end result was the same-- the kyuubi was still sealed...but Orochimaru did the deed-- not using shiki fuujin, but a different jutsu-- for which he used the life force of his number one in-village political adversary, Jiraiya's loud ( ... )

Also "DIC" is a special term we use for characters that are dead in the cannon world, but are still considered "In Character" and alive in another reality.

*shrugs* But I was pretty close to the IC Oro's personality, so no, I don't mind playing IC. Just as soon as I read everything and figure out what in the hell is going on.
