Prompt you're claiming (if any): None of the listed ones, but I am inspired by a quote by Elizabeth Barrett Browning from her poem Napoleon III in Italy: "And each man stands with his face in the light of his own drawn sword, ready to do what a hero can."
Brief story summary: Caspian is given the choice at the end of the world: to stay and rule Narnia and be forever parted from Lucy, or to go back to England with her and never return to Narnia. But our world needs him too...and Lucy has so many ways she wants to bring healing to it: Oxfam famine relief during and after the war, working with the Red Cross to help German POWs, joining the International Refugee Organization to give thousands of homeless Europeans a place to live, marching for Civil Rights in America. Together with Caspian she would be unstoppable. Note: this fic is a "everyone lives no one dies" AU in which LB train crash does not take place.
