As promised....August 21st and my Hamlet thoughts.

Aug 26, 2008 05:40

I went to bed really early last night (9:30!!) and so now I'm up really early. I figured I'd use the time to type up my ramblings from last Thursday night. Now, these ramblings cover the whole entire day because it was a day unlike any other I've experienced in my life...in a bad way and in a good way. So, remember that I'm not writing it now, ( Read more... )

9:00 AM We make it back to the house and I've sworn Laura to secrecy about my (first) unfortunate incident.
Oi! That's kind of saying I was actually thinking of telling somebody about that when you know full well I'm not that dense. I may be rather dense but I'd never be dense enough to tell Mom about that. Yeeesh! :p lol

I wanted to see the play again as well. Right after it ended I wanted them to reset everything and do it again.

Wow, what a day indeed! I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles with the infernal car-of-evil and the loss of your camera. I don't think I'd even try driving like that, just watching the video with the wheel on the wrong side just seemed, well, wrong! I loved your review of the play, one of the best I've read so far. David looks so fantastic, you were sooooo close to him! Thanks for sharing your stories, pictures & videos, they're great! :)

I just read this now 'cause I had to find out how David Tennant broke your camera. That really sucks that you have so much trouble with the car! Though honestly, I expect I would, too. I have not-so-good depth perception, and I'd be ALL thrown off by sitting on the opposite side of the car. And nervous as heck. It would NOT be fun. I give you mad props for even trying to drive!

I'm so, so glad you found your SD card and that it turned out to be intact. I'm still not over the pictures I lost from Dublin because my APS camera (remember when those were popular?) failed and all the photos turned out blanks. There was no way to know this until we tried getting them developed. *cries* Thankfully, I brought multiple cameras with me. My sister's 35mm held B&W film, so I have those, and I had a disposable waterproof one for the marathon.

Doctor Hamlet died with his Converse on. As it should be.

*dies laughing* Yes. Yes, it should be.

I would have been just sick if I'd lost my pictures. I was SO grateful to find that card. I remember feeling like I was going to throw up when I thought I'd lost it.

I would have mourned for your Dublin pictures, too. That's such a let-down. :(

I love that you get all the Doctor Who references now. Heehee!!
