In other happy news, two amendments to ban gay marriage were completely mutilated today in MA. The first vote was 196 - 0, and the second was 109 - 87. They've recessed until next year. :)

The Onion is the best newspaper in print. I remember seeing a really really erie webpage that linked and old Onion article about Bush just after he was elected then hyperlinked real news articles that substantiated the Onions crazy predictions years before.

My stupid cell phone was deactivated because I didn't use it for more than a year. Consequentally, I didn't see anyone when I was in London. :( It would have been nice to meet up with you. It's been a long time since I last saw you. I think it's been 4 years or so.

I certainly think one reason for the Dems success in this election is that they were more aggressive than the 2004 election, and although I didn't follow them I get the feeling they weren't that aggressive in previous elections before that, either. It's disappointing that the country had to get in such a mess before they'd fight back.

I don't mind at all!

Normally I don't add people to my flist unless I know them well, have had at least a couple of distinct conversations with them, or met them via LJ and they aren't connected to anyone else I know -- but there are always exceptions, and as I've heard so many wonderful things about you, you are one of them. :)

So -- hello! Nice to meet you.

Lucky you! I haven't seen her since... 1998, I believe.

Small world, isn't it?
