US Election Results: Almost Over

Democrat Jon Tester has been called as the victor in Montana after one recount! That means that the Democrats currently have fifty seats to the Republicans fourty-nine; however, since the tie-breaking vote is the Leader of the Senate which is the Vice President, the Democrats have to take Virginia to have a majority. AMENDMENT # 4
"Shall Section 33, Article III of the Constitution of this State be amended by deleting the following sentence from the Constitution: 'The marriage of a white person with a Negro or mulatto, or person who shall have one-eighth or more of Negro blood, shall be unlawful and void'."
Explanation:
This amendment, if approved, will remove the part of the Constitution that makes marriage between whites and blacks illegal.This was a cosmetic vote, as of course this part of the state constitution was overruled by the Feds in the 1960s (I think. Maybe 1950s). The vote didn't affect reality ( ... )
