So, life! Life has been busy. The last few weeks, I have been working a LOT because different coworkers had vacation time they needed to take, and I'm basically the only person left who's free enough to take over their shifts. It's good for me getting more hours, but man, retail takes such a toll on your feet. It's good I have a few days off now, ( Read more... )

Oh man, I know EXACTLY what you mean on the school front! And the not having one single huge passion! But I think environmental studies sounds awesome, good for you! :)

Also, SO JEALOUS of London! You are going to have a blast, omg.

About the no-passion thing, I think that if you don't have some kind of vision for what you want to do in the future, then you can at least see what kind of stuff you like to do. Do you like to teach stuff to people, do you like to build stuff, do you like to do research and/or work in a lab, etc.

After you find some things that you really love doing, you can look for jobs that will incorporate them.

Being lazy counts, by the way, it just means that you don't want an uber-stressful job that will eat up all your time and won't allow you to invest in much of anything else in your life.

You also have to be honest with yourself - don't list stuff that others think that you like or should like, or that you want to believe that you like even though you don't. Choose stuff that really make you smile and make it feel like time is flying by when you're doing 'em.

I don't know if that will help you, but hey, a little soul searching can't hurt, right?
