It was good to read your next installment after a long, patient wait. Vendor food is supposed to be fine as long as it's cooked. You could have gotten really sick here in USA eating spinach that you thought was healthy for you or even eating at Taco Bell! I guess I'll have to patiently wait for your next installment. Please keep writing as often as possible. I'm enjoying reading about your trip.

Suzanne and Steve Najarian here. Glad you could get back to India and we wish you a safe journey. I got a call out of the blue from Chris Morris (now Chris Khalil), the woman I roomed with when we met you. That was a blast from the past. Hope your journey is what you hoped it would be. Did you ever eat at the fabulous "restaurant" near the station in Poona (now Pune)? They had a vegetarian thali for a rupee twenty five. In 1969 using black market standards that was 12 cents.
You were once the "master of the black market" (or was that Andrew???)

Elliot and I have returned from Fiji. It was great and I'll tell you about it when you return. Sounds like you're having a great time. The pictures are incredible. India looks beautiful based on those two. Send more! Have a great trip.
