The reason our internet was down was one of my ignorant roommates presses the reset button on our wireless when he is having problems, putting it back to factory defaults. I'm trying to decide if it's worth trying to redo all the settings. Argh. I want to get out of here.

i know the feeling, except that i am usually the one doing the resetting and programming. is it the standard firmware or have you flashed it with ddwrt or something of that ilk? the basic settings are quick. name, network name, password, network password/encryption. hope it smooths out for you.

The problem is that the house wireless router is in my landlord's bedroom and my router connects wirelessly. I just am going to have my router be secure.
