Re-Discovering My Inner Child

I've said before on numerous occasions that I have a really bad memory. After about six months, all the little details start to slip away. I think this is part of the reason why I never get homesick. In my Advanced Composition class today we did this exercise where we had to clear our minds and then think of a memory, any memory, and it had to be

I have an iron scar too- on my right leg, the scar is definitely still there, the nice point part at the top with the steam holes. The where the holes are turn purple when I'm cold. Very classy. Only I wasn't twelve when I got it, I was more like 20.
