I'll say that I have almost zero time to do my own work right now, my narewrimo goals were too lofty.
However, I was able to squeeze out time to skim a couple of books and photocopy useful chapters. I'm so pleased I was able to get that little bit done.
Since I have Mondays off, I'm going to play catch-up tomorrow. Unfortunately my most productive hours are always after 9pm, no matter what I do. Frustrating!
Well, I'm an unlucky bunny that got really, really sick last week, and ended up spending all my alloted writing time on the couch, wrapped up in 3 warm blankets, overdosing on paracetamol. *end of rant*
I'd like to catch up with the work I missed (hopefully, my experiments will finally start moving along OK), and start working on the lit review of my junior thesis + update an article I'm working on + read the manual on qPCR I've been hanging on to for like forever.
Not much physically achieved, however Grad Review sent off, meeting with Dean of Grad Studies organised, and after 18 months of angst, ulcers and stress, I may FINALLY have a co-supervisor who GETS what I want to do.
Last week = fail. I hardly managed to get any writing done through a combination of ineptness on my part and my supervisor suggesting a re-analysis of some data. Doom.
On the plus side, the data now look as damn sight more promising than it did before. The thesis, however, is not any longer. :(
This week... This week I think is all about researching the literature for my three "short" chapters and getting onto the writing for two of them. I'm going to try and get the materials and methods finalised so at least I have something down on paper.
