Fables

Who on my flist reads Fables? 'Cos I've taken to visiting the comics shop once a month for my fix. It's the best stuff ever. And I'm not even a big comics fan. I read the first five volumes from the library, then starting buying the monthly issues, even though each issue is so heartbreakingly *short*. It's just wonderful story-telling and beautiful

I bought the first book recently at B&N, and am toying with the idea of a Fables-esque sort of RPG on GJ. With all of the Amazon Martketplacing I'm doing, I should see if I can get the secondhand. Hmmmm.

Oh dear me yes. I picked up the sixth trade book this weekend, and it gets better and better every time.

Only now I have to wait for the next trade. :(

I've read the first GN and adored it. Haven't gotten around to buying/reading the rest though. Good stuff.
