So, okay, I need some help evaluating the idiocy of this idea:

I'm going to Europe for the month of April.  The entire month of April, plus bits of March and May.  Because I'm a total slacker, I haven't actually bought my tickets yet, but I've got a friend who's getting married on the 10th of May, so I'm coming back to the states in time for that.

Oh, god, that sounds like such a better idea. If only in terms of not, like, putting on wedding makeup in an airplane bathroom, y'know?

If I can talk somebody else into going with me, I might do that. Or I might...put on wedding makeup in an airport bathroom, in Minneapolis, during a one-hour layover. This seriously has every single making of the setup for a really horrible comedy of errors, y'know?

However- we have to be careful. Evidently the date is subject to change because the Rams play there and if they make the playoffs things get fucked up- I think it's explained in dsudis' journal.

I REALLY WANT TO. I CAN KINDA AFFORD IT BECAUSE I HAVE MONEY SQUIRRELED AWAY. MY SISTER COULD PROBABLY MEET ME THERE ON THE 10TH SO I WOULDN'T BE ALONE. But there's no way of knowing if the date'll change and I don't want to buy tickets in case it gets fucked up you know??? What should we do?

DUDE! Yes you should do it! MCR with TBS, it'll be fucking awesome, and I totally wish I could go to that, so you should definitely do it!

Oh, man, and TBS is going to be there, and I just...I seriously, utterly, totally do not think I can. Unless everything goes exactly, perfectly, utterly and instantly on schedule, getting from New York to La Porte City, Iowa by 2:00 in the afternoon just WILL NOT happen.

Philly, though. It looks like I'm going to see them in Philly. Along with a passel of other awesome fangirls I've not actually met, but will make a point of doing so, because...MCR live, and seriously, I did not think there was a chance in hell I'd get to see this.
