I totally want to read about K versus r selection in vampires. Mostly, I want to know what K and r stand for. But I also want you to try to get it published in the Journal of Irreproducible Results.

...ok, that is now my goal. Unfortunately I think it's going to require more statistics than I intended. I need to look up how they do their sources.

(K and r selection are two models of how species reproduce. r species have a whole lot of offspring very quickly, most of which die, and the survivors get less likely to die as they get older. K species invest a lot in a couple of offspring that get more likely to die as they get older. Buffy vampires are so 'r' it's hilarious. Most other vampires, interestingly, are not actually ecologically stable populations.)
