Alcohol as a legal drug.

It's really frightening what alcohol can do to a person. Over the past two years I've seen enough families get DESTROYED by alcohol addiction to fill a book. One thing that I've come to believe, however is that since someone wouldn't likely do this in a sober mind, but could potentially do it under the influence, it doesn't represent a personal ( Read more... )

wow man, i def see where your coming from. its wierd. it took me a long while to get over the fact that i can be friends with people that drink. it wasnt that i hated them, it was that, in a way, i was afraid. cause i guess i lost a lot of trustworthy friendships to those whom drink. i figured i couldnt trust anyone who drank. but im over that phase in my life. im fine with kids drinking socially or casually. but i dont get it. like, whey they praise us or why that say things such as that. all of what you said are great points that i ponder a lot too. its wierd. but i guess i do understand if someone whom im friends with tell me they respect me. they respect the fact that i dont cave in and that i believe in what i stand for. but it still seems wierd. i will never find drinking cool. dude, im just glad im not the only person that sees these things.
