Hello again

I haven't touched this journal in a very long time. But my daughter is now old enough to be active on social media, and the best way to keep track of her is to friend her everywhere she goes on the internet. Which means that pretty much everywhere I go, my kid can read my posts. Except here, which is far too old-school and boring for her ( Read more... )

I'm still here. Other places too, but they never felt like home the way that this does. Also, I can't keep up with the pace of most social media, but LJ seems like a place where I can check in twelve hours or two days later with a contribution to the conversation, whereas I would have to be instantly responsive with these newfangled services ( ... )

Any good active writing comms you would recommend?

I got nothing, I'm afraid, but I would recommend either friending sartorias or at least looking in on her LJ--she's always linking to author interviews, writing challenges, and long interesting discussion threads on writing.
