Speculation

There she was, standing at the foot of the next few months, her petrified stance allowed her to dodge the sight of the sliding door, it remaining oblivious to her presence, phew.. it hadn’t noticed her yet. She stood fixed by her thoughts, a welcomed restraint as she looked down into the unforgiving mirror, the remains of the weather lying there, telling her, willing her to face herself. The cold, transparent surface of the automated entrance began to open, their drawling pace inviting her to be swallowed whole, utterly consumed by what’s to come, the feared unknown.

The proposition remained as the doors hung open timing the girl as she waits. She breathes in, the desperate grasp for help she knows so well rapidly making its way into her core, filling her whole frame out, remaining suspended there at her height, held by the everlasting minute, trapping those misguided tears behind the flimsy defence that is her worn, yet picturesquely framed eyelids. It escapes the prison of a girl, the breath skittish at its release finally free of the discontent and worry that it recognised as a lasting, familiar feeling, which seemingly clouded it apart from all other emotions, numb.

She’s sure that she should be happy, or if that’s truly too much to ask, she expected to be content at least. Time had grasped the contents of her mind and forced them an infinite distance apart from where they had once been, now crammed inside a bubble instead of held tightly, indefinitely, inside the confines of her heart. The end of the season marked the end of her journey, the euphoric, confusing and inconceivable thoughts first lit by those moments, now lingering in the fore front of her mind as she faces the reminder, a sheer, undecided climb to meet her memories once more.

“Oh... so i’m on time but the lift is a no show?” With that she stoops forwards, a direction which her feet seem strictly opposed to, her left heel protesting to the climb in a final attempt, falling down a crevice in the metal sheet beneath the weight of the doors panes.

A powerless sigh emerges from her now impatient lips, “Shit.. no, don’t get angry, there’s a time for angry and that isn’t now..” she stepped out of the mischievous red high heeled shoe, the striking colour screamed at her to move as the doors grew to a close, she tugged it out of the guard with a forceful left hand just before the confirmation of her presence in the building met in the middle.

Composition of herself came quickly after, she began at the bottom, the stone like defence slowly being rebuilt up the height of her body as she proceeded to thoughtfully rearrange the proud red bow of each shoe, her hands coming together on her left side to swat away the dirt which had clung onto outer part of the sunburst of her black, gold threaded jeans, a stain upon her thoughts. She reaches her top, the black cotton possibly the only thing unaffected, thankfully, the crumpled, wide set material remaining peaceful upon her ever so slightly defined collar. With one last shrug, purely to pull her open denim jacket to attention, she begins the climb.

TBC? :) Let me know will you pal ;)
