Disclaimer: I don’t own Skins or Buffy! I wish I did though!

Chapter Two:

Blood pounding, head aching, if she had breath it would be racing and light blinding. Naomi felt the world returned to her and then felt the cold, wetness of the ground beneath her. She pushed herself up into a sitting position. The blood slowly dripped down her face and she wiped it away with her hand. “Emily...?” She asked groggily.

“Hey, are you okay?” A teenage voice called from the sidewalk. It was a teenage boy with black hair. There was a group standing around him looking at her with shock.

“Fine,” Naomi growled and the kids scattered. She swayed from side to side and had to hold herself up using the wall next to her. Emily? Where was she? What happened? And then....Naomi remembered everything from the laying bed to being thrown out the window by that strange man that seemed impossible to kill. Suddenly it was like she had a new rush of adrenaline and pounced towards the fire escape on the side of the building. She pulled herself up and sprinted onto the roof. She bent her head to the side and then sniffed the air. Scent. He smelled like blood, guts and fear. There was no way she could take him....She turned in the other direction and sniffed. Strawberries...She was sprinting before she knew it and then jumping onto the nearest rooftop.

Naomi followed the scent for what seemed like ages until she arrived at a massive complex just outside of the city. What was going on here? She hadn’t done anything to piss anyone off lately...had she? Naomi shook her head, no. She’d been happy living the quiet eternal life with Emily and then these guys burst in and take that it all away from them! They are going to pay for what they’ve done!

Naomi reached for the blade that should be sheathed to her back and realised that it was missing. She sighed and then looked over the forces that were protecting the base....she could do it. She wasn’t the strongest vampire ever, but she was still strong enough to take a couple dozen men wielding guns that they didn’t even know how to handle. Naomi moved slowly across the rooftop looking for the best point of entry, a weakness in their defence. She found it! An unguarded fence panel that would get her into the complex. She moved quickly and gracefully, avoiding the eyes of the guards around her and then reaching the fence. She flipped over it and landed gracefully on the floor beneath her. Her eyes moved quickly to see if she had attracted any attention. “So, how many of these fuckers do we have to catch? Because, to be honest man, all these supernatural whatever’s creep me the hell out.” Naomi moved towards the sounds of the voice and hide behind a nearby cargo crate.

“I don’t know, but as long as the boss keeps giving us targets then we’ve got to take them out, I guess. I don’t really know what the government want with all these vamps and wolves and shit. It’s not like they’re going to want to help us.” The other solider replied.

“Maybe, they’re going to replace all of us? You know, like build the ultimate army or something so that they can take over the world?”

“Now that’s just crazy,” The other solider replied. “Urghh...” He gasped and looked down at his chest where a ragged piece of metal was protruding from. “What the...?” He was dropped to the ground and Naomi pounced on the other pinning him to the ground quickly, holding the metal to his throat.

“Where is she!? Tell me where she is or I’ll gut you!” Naomi hissed into his ear. She could hear his blood starting to pump harder around his body, his heart pounding so hard in his chest that she thought it might exploded and most of all the smell of fear that was emitting from his body, that precious fear that vampire’s lived off. This guy was signing his own death warrant.  “NOW!” She hissed angrily again and pressed the metal harder against his skin, showing that she meant business.

“Okay, Okay! I’ll tell you just don’t hurt me!” The man begged quietly.

“No promises!” Naomi hissed. “Now, tell me!”

“She’s in block H, okay? Just go! I won’t tell anyone I saw you! The code is 34gy5! Please just leave me alone!” He started to sob quietly on the floor.

Naomi sighed and let go of the man. She couldn’t kill him now. He was just so pathetic. “Get out of here, but if you tell anyone you saw me or try to alert the guards, I’ll cut your bloody head off, understand?” She smiled sweetly at the end.

“Yes! Oh, god yes! Thank you! Thank you so much!” He replied and scrambled to his feet. Running off into the darkness of the night. She could hear his sobs for a couple of minutes after thanks to her enhanced hearing, but she shook it off after a while. She made her way silently through the rest of the complex until she came to the part labelled block H. She punched in the code and waited for the big metallic doors to open, they did and the blonde vampire stepped inside. Moans were the first things that hit her ears....her eyes looked on in shock as she took in the cages....hundreds of them holding all kinds of supernatural beings...how long had the government been doing this? Naomi walked on. “Help us...?” was the joint moan in hundreds of different demon languages that filled her ears. She didn’t have time...she took a big sniff and found the scent she was looking for. With one massive jump she was in front of the cage she needed. She placed her hands on either side of the cage and pulled her hardest, ripping the door from its metal frame. “Emily?” She cried hopefully.

“No such luck, Blondie. Emily’s not here right now, please leave a message after the tone,” The man in the brown trench coat replied. He was holding a lock of red hair in his hands and sniffing it. He turned and faced the red head. “You vampire’s are so predictable. I knew you’d come straight after your lover so let’s say that I set a trap.”

“And what would that be?” Naomi asked. Ready for combat again. This time she wasn’t going to go down so easily.

“Me!” He roared and pounced at the blonde. She dived out of the way and the man flew over the edge of the railing and dropped a hundred feet to the floor. Naomi gasped and pushed herself to her feet, looking over the railing. The man was laying splayed out on the floor with blood pouring from around the body. The man pushed himself up and Naomi could hear as the bones in his body clicked back into place. “You’re a little faster than I thought, I’ll give you that blondie, but only a little bit. Now, come here and die!” He was next to her in seconds and she didn’t have time to blink before he was slamming her into the wall and then holding a stake to her chest.

“What. Are. You?” She punctuated each word. He gripped her tighter and then pressed the stake harder into her pale skin.

“I’m--” he was cut off by the sound of a metal clang. “What? No! How did he? He can’t have found me! Fuck! When is this guy going to get off my tail!?” He growled and dropped Naomi and the stake, turning towards the light pouring through the entrance to block H. Metal clanging could be heard as it drew closer and closer. A figure formed by shadows appeared in the light on the floor and Naomi looked up to see a Knight. A Knight? She asked herself. What the hell, did they get teleported back in time or something? The knight was wearing all plate armour and holding a long broadsword. It had the Saint George’s cross on the front. “I know why you’re after me, Alastair! I know what you want and you can go fuck yourself, you stupid piece of metal! You are not taking me back there! I won’t go back, do you understand me!?” The man cried. A flaming around shot through him and he grunted in pain and stared down at the knight that was now holding a crossbow. He turned towards the blonde vampire watching the scene in confusion. “I’ll be back for you, Blondie. Don’t you worry about that!” He hissed and then jumped up towards the ceiling and crawling away onto the roof.

Naomi blinked at looked back towards the Knight. He was really there....She pushed herself to her feet and then pushed herself to her feet. She made her way down the stairs and then hesitantly over towards the Knight. “Erm...thanks?” She asked and the Knight swung his blade. Naomi ducked under it and then rolled out the way of another slash.

“Hey, what the fuck have I done to you?” Naomi asked roundhouse kicking the metal tin can in the face. The Knight’s helmet was knocked off and Naomi gasped in surprise. Underneath the helmet was no man or woman. A Skull that was blood red sat there with one eye missing and rotted teeth. Who was this? The Knight punched her sending her back into the wall. Why was she getting attacked by so many supernatural beings all in one day? She isn’t a killer, so why are they after her? The Knight threw out his hand and a purple portal appeared, he stepped inside and then it closed behind him. “What the fuck!?” Naomi exclaimed into the darkness.

Spike sat silently. Waiting. Soon this train would reach its destination and he could figure out what the bloody hell was going on here! He sighed. JJ had been roped into this mess because he had chosen to be an idiot and try and take down, most likely, an army. The train suddenly started to slow and Spike smirked, they must have arrived. He waited till the train stopped completely. He climbed down the cabin and then into the train. It was filled with guards armed to the teeth with various different weapons. He was just about to walk out of the entrance of the train when a club hit him on the back of his neck and everything went black.

His head was aching. It felt like someone had set off a hundred fireworks inside his head and they were never going out. He shook his head and little and tried to raise his hands to his head, but they were locked in chains. “Do not fight the chains, vampire. Only I have the key and the only way for you to get it is to listen, understand?”

“Who are you?” Spike asked groggily. He tried to open his eyes, but they were clearly blindfolded.

“I said listen!” The man replied and a fist collided with his face. Spike’s head hit the table and then he groaned, pushing himself back up into a sitting position. “Good. I see you vampire’s learn quickly. We are not your enemy, remember this, vampire. We only need the amulet for important reasons. The world is changing vampire and not even the higher powers can stop it from happening so I need you to listen very carefully. You are a power player in things to come and without you or any of the others the changes will not take place. You must live. You must! For this to happen you must not follow us, you must leave your friend behind because he is needed now. Many things are all happening at once and someone needs you, a friend...well, more than that. You must seek them out vampire for if not then the end of the world will be on your hands. I know this is very cryptic, but just trust us, even if you find it hard to in your given situation. You must leave all emotion behind and become the vampire you used to be. The ruthless killer. That’s why we’re going to take your wolf friend. Vampire’s don’t have friends, but you do have a destiny!”

“I always have a bloody destiny! Can’t I just be left sodding alone!?” Spike cried angrily and slammed his fists down on the table.

“I’m afraid not vampire. You must seek out your friend and help them. Then when it comes down to it all you can save everything. You must not follow us, do you understand? You must let go of everything that you used to be!” He cried.

Spike’s jaw clenched. “I understand.” He growled. He didn’t know what was happening or who this was, but he just had to get out of this situation. Who was this friend he was supposed to help? Buffy? No, that was too obvious. Angel? No, way too obvious. It’s never the person you hate or think of first. Katie? Maybe, not likely because she has Naomi and Emily watching her back. Spike sighed. This was going to take a while to work out. He was grabbed from either side. “Wait, I don’t bloody understand what’s going on here!” He cried.

“You will, soon,” The man promised and then Spike could feel a gush of wind and the sound of the air passing at incredibly fast speed. “God speed vampire. Your friend is running out of time!” Spike was pushed from the train and sent hurtling towards the ground. He hit the mountain slope and started to roll, picking up speed as he continued to descend. Finally, he hit the bottom. His head bouncing off a rock and blackness consumed him.

“You are not welcome here, Effy. You haven’t been since the night you betrayed the council and went with the vampire.” Cathryn stated as the brunette stood before her dressed in her purple dress.

“I know, but I have heard rumours.” Effy replied.

“And what would those be?” Cathryn asked with a raised eyebrow.

“You are the only remaining council member other than me, and I have heard that mortal world are rising up against us. I offer you hope.” Effy replied with a smirk.

“And why should I listen to you?” Cathryn replied.

“Because at this moment in time some things are taking place that will change the world. Katie Fitch has been impregnated with a vampire child, Alastair is walking on the human soil, William the bloody is in risk of dying and Naomi Campbell is going to die trying to save her lover, Emily Fitch.”

“How do you know all of that?” Cathryn asked shocked.

“Because of this girl,” Effy pointed towards the girl standing a few feet behind her. “Pandora Moon, is a seer and is the most powerful I have ever met. She has seen what is to come, Cathryn” Effy spat. “And only I know how to stop it. So, am I in or am I out?” She asked with a smirk.

“You’re in,” Cathryn growled angrily. “What do we have to do first?”

Effy moved up and sat in her old chair. “Lots of things need to be done. I know every prophecy in existence, Cathryn. I know this one word for one.”

Mortal blindness will be lifted

The earth’s foundation shake as the world falls

Time cannot change what is to come

Because the villain does not age

Cannot age

Trapped forever by eternity to walk this plane

The birth of the one that cannot be born only made

Will bring around the end of time

It cannot be stopped

There is no champion of the light

This is the end of days

“And what of the Tyru-san?” Cathryn asked venomously. “It was predicted by a seer that had half the power of the others. We cannot know that this is definitely going to happen!”

“It is. Katie Fitch’s baby will end the world and I have proof. You know what is going to happen! You have to except it, Cathryn! The baby must die otherwise the humans will find us and destroy us all! And then when they rain supreme above us with us as there slaves that baby will grow into a monster and wipe out all living things on the face of the earth and everywhere! Do you really want to be the one to condone a genocide?” Effy smirked.

“Darius!” A demon appeared beside her. “Gather your troops! You are to find and kill Katie Fitch before her baby can be born and if it is born, kill it!”

“Yes, Ma’am!” Darius nodded and then disappeared again.

“What of William the bloody?” Cathryn asked.

“He is the father and he will do everything to see that his child does not come to any harm, he would even cut out his own heart.” Effy smirked.

“And what of Naomi Campbell?” Cathryn asked again. She hated Effy. The damned Oracle had gained the upper hand again for the second time in the last a hundred years and was bullying the council into doing her command.

“She will die, there is no stopping that, but she will make sure that Emily Fitch is saved.” Effy said knowingly.

“And what if you’re wrong, Effy? What if everything you are doing is bringing forth the end?” Cathryn asked.

“Then it is your fault not mine.” Effy glared.

Cathryn growled. “Anything else, Effy? You seem to be pretty confident this will work?”

“We need Naomi Campbell, we need an ultimate warrior and I am willing to let Emily Fitch be killed by the government to let that happen. Get her here now and then I will tell you how I am going to save the world.” Effy replied.

*

Darius burst through the window and landed in Katie Fitch’s bedroom. “I knew you’d be coming, you fucking stupid demon. You’re like, so dead!” Katie cried and pulled the trigger on her gun, blowing the demon’s brains out.
