Leora waited anxiously as she stood in line to get her ticket. The ticket was bought and paid for, all she had to do was pick it up at the desk. Her bags were sitting at her side, bumping into her leg as the child behind her kicked at the bags out of sheer boredom. Leora boarded the plane with her ticket in hand, her seat was 3A, a window seat. She was finally free to do what she wanted, when she wanted it. The divorce from her husband was a bitter one, luckily she had a damn good attorney so she cleaned out the pockets of her ex hubby. She got the house, the car and the dog, while he found himself living with his mother. Leora watched the other passengers as they boarded the plane. A woman who looked to be in her mid 30's sat next to her and smiled. She introduced herself as Kate. As the plane took off, Kate pulled out a drivers manual, and said "After my husband had died I wanted to learn to drive. He always did the driving, so now I figure it's time I learned to take care of myself in every way, shape and form."
I played fast and loose with some of the details, changing Israel to Jerusalem for the convenience of the thing and turning 'the woman in 3b' to the third daughter of the second wife
