Hunting lesson 3

Jun 08, 2015 21:57

Look like installing an older version of photoshop did the trick, the computer is past snail speed (it is about hedgehog speed. Not Sonic's sadly)
But, I loose most of my personnalized photoshop tools (noooo my brusheeees! My shaaaaapes! ) so the rendering is a bit different than the first pages.
Here is page 3!

I swear she feed them regularly! )

Aweee no not the specialized brushes! Nooooo 8C. The page still looks great tho. Awwww the fluffkids are so cute d'aww and look at hardworking mom fixing some noms for her children. Mangestu certainly has her hands full! Or paws I guess.

I still have the brushes, but they won't work on this version of photoshop. Sigh, I'll have to waitfor the new computer.
Enki is the best big brother ever, isn't he? He will be a very good dad later (I'm pretty sure he is the one of the family who will end with more children than his mother...)

Your characters are really expressive, it's fun to watch them. Is the whole thing going to be dialogue free?

Thank you!
Yeah, there will be no dialogue or even sound effect, I'm a bit of a masochist on this project (but it leave more room for the pictures!)

How do you convey so much without dialogue?! What amazingness is this?

Body langage. The new sorcery trend.
Na seriously, I think three years of drawing dolls without facial muscle helped with having a character more expressive by it's body alone...

Yeah, that would do it I guess. I just need to work on trying to draw that. And backgrounds...

A bit different but not bad. Great job on those stairs! I'm also staring to get some really good Secret of N.I.M.H. vibes from this. Did you ever see that one?
