It's Day Twelve! Hopefully you have been taking advantage of the weekend! I think a lot of people are able to catch up this weekend, and we're on the tail end of week 2's hell week, so things should really pick up soon if you've been worried. That being said, how did you today?

1765 for me today.

I woke up to a mini rain storm, and so went back to bed. Sunshine when I woke up for a second time, and so walk in was pleasant. A few hundred words belonged to the previous scene, rather than making a new one and was not feeling about writing a full session on that, so changed scenes to fill up the rest of the day's session.

Back-track writing is awesome! Sometimes you can go back and fill stuff in to up your word count; I've done that before, too. Well done!

Also writing something in past tense can add an extra word or two. "He had said" vs "He said"

I've actually done that this year! One of my first writing days featured a flashback! Great minds think alike!
