Day Ten Word Counts

Nov 10, 2016 15:14

Are you as busy as I am this week? And within that busyness are you able to get in some writing time? Remember that the minimum daily word count is 1667 and if you're still on track or even a bit ahead, getting at least 1667 is good. If you're behind, try and get that minimum as well. The important thing whether you're behind or ahead is to ( Read more... )

I'm averaging 1750 words per day. :) it's been an incredibly busy week, so i haven't had time to wrote during my lunch break, but my gf is quitting smoking, so she's been doing a lot of meditation and wants to be left alone, so i have been able to write for 1-2 hours in the evenings.

Excellent average and good that you are finding time during the day. It can be difficult when you lose your lunch break due to work or having meetings, which is one of the reasons I try to avoid being a creature of habit with my writing times.

3207 for me today. I did another "get up early and write daily amount" as had the final full day meeting. I wrote on the plane though which helped to boost my word count again. I had considered sleeping but the passenger in the middle seat was an "encroacher" with their elbows, so writing made it easier to avoid them. Back in UK again for the next week, then it is off to San Francisco!

Fabulous total today! Glad you were able to get more done on the plane, too. I guess the middle seat passenger was a blessing in disguise?

Are you going to San Francisco for the Night of Writing Dangerously writeathon?!

If so, I am insanely jealous. I've always wanted to go! If not, I hope you have a wonderful time and get lots written! :)

Well they were nice enough, and I normally give the arm rest to the middle passenger. They were also reading too, so I can be more forgiveable as it is another plus point.

I am indeed going to NoWD. Grant has been trying to get me out for a couple of years and so I decided to do it this year. I am combining it with birdwatching and trying to pop in to write-ins when I get a chance. Sushimustwrite will be there and also it is hometown for Blackbook, so it would be nice to put faces to them.

I will also need to remember to change my NaNoClock so that my daily amounts remain correct.

AHHHHHH! I hope you come back with stories and pictures! Are you going in a costume, and if so, please post a picture? Sounds like it's going to be a fun excursion!

Oh yes, you'll be on PST; very important that you update your word count for the correct days!

Is this your first time to the states, or California, for that matter?
