It’s November when we usually don’t post the writing exercises or prompts so everyone can concentrate on meeting their NaNoWriMo goal.

Thanks for doing this. I really need the motivation. I'm sort of writing a string of scenes I thought of long ago. Something I've always wanted to write, but never thought they would be usable for anything. These prompts will help a lot. This year my goal is to simply make it to 50,000 words. Not necessarily write that novel like all the other years I've done this.

So yeah, hadn't read this, but just made a good dozen people surprised - the (slightly) demented old lady is like some miracle worker with a slingshot. She isn't going to full explain why she's a dab hand either (maybe she was once a spy and was put in my town to hide in her twilight years...)
