 I attended a write-in but I had to go through this tent.  The kid didn't know who i was.  I was thinking "Kid, I've been doing NaNo since you've been in diapers!"  Somehow I got in and I'm sitting at a high table on one of those bar stools.  My laptop is open.  I see a couple of fellow wrimos.  I open my laptop and try to find my NaNoWriMo

I haven't finished my writing for today, so I don't have a count, but I just wanted to share a story of dedication to NaNo, to help people see that it CAN be done...

Last November was a terrible month for me. I was sick pretty much the entire month. My work hours dropped, my school work sucked, and I was in and out of urgent care clinics the whole time. The whole thing culminated in a spinal tap two days before Thanksgiving, a procedure that was botched by a PA before being performed by an "actual" doctor.

The whole time I was behind, sometimes as little as 1500 words and sometimes as much as 10,000. The last couple days I was gorked out of my mind on Vicodin. I was worried I wouldn't finish NaNo, which was really disappointing to me.

But somehow I managed to drag myself across the finish line.

So to those who are thinking they can't get through - keep trying!

Ugh, I'm ashamed of the drivel that escaped my fingertips today, but I'm determined to stick with this and finish it at this point. I'm also starting to run out of steam as far as plot, but looking at my outline helped.
