The Sonoma Coast

This is a picture of the Sonoma Coast, looking south across the mouth of the Russian River. Cameron and I used to go to the Russian River fairly often for a nice, relaxing weekend. Occasionally we would drive back along Highway 1, down the Sonoma and Marin coastlines. It's a very pretty drive.

I meant to post something in your last entry. Even though I never met Cameron, we used to "chat" through our journals. We were going to try to meet on day when he was visiting his mom, but it never came to fruition. I remember how active he was in the bear community, the photos he posted, his smile and his generosity when it came to making comments. It's amazing how one can miss someone they've never met.

Hope you're doing well... and I sort of know how you feel. This was a scene that Ben and I drove through a couple of years before he was taken by the big "C."

I know how beautiful the California Coastline can be... alas, I don't get to see it often, save through the kindness of strangers, either in pics like yours (Thank You) or on a Sunday Day Outing... in someone elses car... since I don't drive.
