[ACTION - LOCKED TO DAKKI SIGAL (Louvre Hotel, Evening/Night)]

[Just when you think you've got the hang of Mayfield, it throws another curveball your way.]

[Gat slowly awakens in bed at the room he and Dakki have been assigned at the Louvre Hotel. Even fighting off the sluggishness of human sleep, he can immediately tell that things are not right

[Mornings still hadn't stopped being vaguely unpleasant and confusing, even when she was waking up in her "own" bed. The satin sheets felt wrong... as did whatever was tangling up in her legs and leaving her back bare.]

Nhh...

[Tired and foggy, she heard Gat's voice and Gat's shuffling about, and it encouraged her to try and get up. She sat, she threw sheets aside, she rubbed her eyes.]

Oh great. What is it now...?

[She pulled her hand down over her face, and let it keep going to straighten out her usual nightgown... only it kept going because it didn't find a nightgown. It was an evening gown, bright crimson, spangled, and cut all the way up to here and down to there.]

[Oh, hey, Dakki's up. Gat turns around to look at her and-

-wow. Sexy duck! Gat wasn't even aware Mayfield had clothing like that; there's a lot less exposed skin in Mayfield fashion compared to Gurhal fashion. Usually. Until now.]

I, uh-jus' so you know, I had nothin' to do with this.

[You'd think being around as many scantily-clad girls-and that's including CASEALs like Dakki here-would make Gat immune by now. But hey, unfamiliar places, faces, and a new body to go with it ...]

[Dakki rose from the bed, giving a stretch and then straightening out the dress. A little shuffle turned her around, in the direction of Gat's voice, and she stopped mid-straighten.

Well. Count that as ANOTHER expression she had never expected to see him making.]

Never said you did. Wouldn't think you would. We both know where we are.

[A pause. And then a look around to really take in the room.]

Uh. In general. This is... probably still Mayfield?

Nice suit..?

[She gave a little shimmy in place, apparently to let the dress settle. Leg was flashed. No need to feel too self-conscious. Gurhalian fashion could be pretty immodest, and Dakki had a few "special occasion" outfits in her storage when she felt the need to dress up "nice".

This was perfectly normal. She really had to stop blushing.]

[Gat, in a fit of bashfulness, readjusts the collar as he's reminded of what he's wearing.]

Heh, well-definitely ain't what I'm used to, but it's nice.

[If he were any other man, Gat would probably be fixated or trying-to-not-look-while-looking at the way Dakki's body jiggles as she shimmies. Thankfully, though, her other question provides a good distraction. He strides over to the window and opens the blinds to look out at the town.]

Yeah, it's Mayfield, alright. Looks like th' sun's 'bout to set.

Funny, I don't see much action goin' on in th' town. Not a whole lotta cars on th' road.
