Oh god, I really don't want to feel guilty when I buy a PS3 for The Last Guardian once it comes out. Or stick to playing Mass Effect over and over because I can at least choose a badass lady as my protagonist. There's only so much Bioware I can take before I overdose and start ( Read more... )

That's the worst part. If it had been Gears of War, I would be...well, unsurprised, probably, but it wouldn't affect my feelings about the series. I love the Ico series, though, and it could really use a daring little girl with a giant catbateagledog for a friend after the other games revolved around protecting or reclaiming delicate, ethereal ladies.

The ending of Ico was nice! At least, the ending after the credits was. And there were watermelons!

Their "reasoning" is so frustrating! Ugh. It would have been so awesome if the protagonist had been a girl. We need more of them!

It was nice eventually! It kind of broke my heart a little before we got that far, though. (Sadly, I can only see the watermelon scene on Youtube - for now, anyway, if that PS3 rerelease thing is to be believed.)
