My friend melanie, who is a role model for a whole number of reasons, has written an great article about why organisations like PFLAG (that's Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) are important, and why she is involved. Oh dear god, this ties in nicely with my boyfriend's zebra obsession. I'm not sure I can make the link with your conversation, except of course something about the many wiggly stripes, and the fact that they can run really quite fast, unlike pandas. But I expect in certain other ways they may be similar.

So: why is my panda making my eyes go all blurry?

I'm afraid I must disagree with Signor Sanchez. "Proper animals" are always black and white and Fresian cow-shaped. This can be extended to cats, of which only the Black and White ones (and possibly black ones) are "proper." All the rest are just manky tabbies of one kind or another. Therefore, zebras are good.

what is this thing called Zebra of which you speak? I know only the funny pandas with the hard feet and loud call. They eat their bamboo properly too, despite an obsession with grass.... I'm sure my eyes will improve with the drugs I take.

Do you mean you know why my Panda lives in a convent?

Why are my panda's without legs, and why am I feeling so sick when one has just bitten me?.... x.x

Why is my panda flying away with my shiney rings?

Why does my panda have twice the normal legs and insist on becoming a not-panda when I move him of the panda-surface?

Dear zoovet,

My panda smells bad. Is it dead?

Yours,

Senor Sanchez
