somehow a number of years ago we acquired a book by Gwyneth Jones - I think it was given to my family because of the coincidence with my sister's name. I read it and it was ok but not particularly stand-out. Glad to hear that some other of her writing is very good. Right now I am actually working through the Foundation series. xthlcm took the first 3 along on the honeymoon because he'd never read the classics. I had, back a long time ago, but never finished the series and couldn't remember where I'd left off. So I started from the beginning. I actually picked up book 4 from the library today.

I keep laughing about the name... "We KNOW her"! I think I read something of hers involving aliens and sex a little while ago, and was a bit bleh about it, it was too self-conscious.

IT's not sad and geeky, it's GREAT cos it gets you in just the right mood for the book.
