ARSE! I just made a long and lovely post about how much I was enjoying the patriotic silliness involved in celebrating Trafalgar day (England expects, etc), and how I was looking forward to going down to the Birthplace of Our Hero (Admiral Lord Horation Nelson for the Foreign Amongst You (like me)) to celebrate his victory in the Victory, and his ( Read more... )

You are my favorite British person ever. Only you can get away with British patriotism.

Why am I so damned undisciplined? I've been in DC for a week and done NOTHING.

I think I get away with the patriotism stuff cos I acknowledge how damned silly it is. They had a review of the fleet at Burnham Overy Staithe, which for one, sounds like it's a proposal to do nasty things to the insides of a woman, and for two, is a tiny tiny mudflat type harbour that can't fit boats big enough to spend more than a day in.

The village is covered in flags, and ribbons, and bunting, and my mum has just put some up that's blue and red, not the Union Jack, and hopes people think she's supporting the French. I feel like I have been transported in time.

I have no willpower, NONE. All I want to do is chat on lj and e-mail and look at funny things on the net. Maybe I need to write things out by hand.

What's going on with you and the sexy mormon? eh? eh? Are things promising?

1.) I want to see you in a nice, floor-length Union Jack dress with a custom -made hat for the occasion.

2.) I'd say pretty promiosing, even with the whole "I live in the midwest, you live in Dallas" issue. He is so sweet, like candy-coated goodness. And he may be reading this sometime soon. Hi mormonlicious!
