a cute anime/manga series about a girl obsessed with jellyfish, her weird otaku roommates, and a crossdressing boy (this dress is the one "inspired" by him :D) You should give it a try. I've actually watched it more than once because it cheers me up every time ^^

Those dresses could easily be worn outside of lolita. Also, lolita dresses have good resale value anyway. So if you regret the purchase afterwards, Y hello thar sales comm!
