Mama duck seems to have decided that the overflow is their night-spot. They've been there every evening since we first spotted them.

I love that you guys are giving her a well balanced "diet" of science and creativity/art! A lot of parents would focus on one or the other, but you guys don't!

And every time I feel bad for your horrible commute into the city, I'm reminded of the lovely canal you're next to, and the beautiful garden you have!

Yes. I was pretty upset at the time - it seemed a horrible shame for it to end on a sour note.

A lot of the variety is driven by her! She goes and fetches what she wants to do, whether it's the pencils, the paints or her notebooks.

I admit I can't feel too sorry for me either when I look out the windows here at home...
