Lovely! I really hope though that Mrs Phythian-Adams doesn't have to pay for her bookings.

So do I. She hasn't mentioned having to pay for some time (she did in the earlier entries) so I'm hopeful that the LT are letting her stay free of charge. She's not a well person - her entries refer to her arthritis and Parkinson's - and I can't imagine that her income is substantial. :/

How magical that people would leave drawings and poems like that! And I never knew that you were such an artist! All this and looks and brains too!

I think people make an effort not just to counteract Mrs Nicholson, but also because Mrs Phythian-Adams seems to take pleasure in reading the logs when she visits as well.

Thank you re: the artist compliment. My draftsmanship has never been great, but I also don't practise nearly enough.

These logs are priceless! When I first skipped through the entry just looking at the photos I thought this was some kind of artbook.

Yes! I would not be ashamed to go back in a couple of years just for the sake of reading them again and seeking out the new entries from repeat visitors. :)

It is! I want to go back and re-read them. I would seriously consider going back there just for that.
