1. First time you cooked for someone else?

I don't remember. I would have been an adult. My family didn't teach me to cook. I could bake a cake or cookies by the time I left home, but I couldn't make a meal. It was likely to have been something very simple, like pasta with sauce, or a grilled cheese sandwich.

I've read a scientific explanation recently why everything is so quiet when snow falls. I've already forgotten what it was. *lol*

I think #5 is something from Harry Potter?

Heh, I'm sure somehow the structure of snowflakes gives them sound-absorbing properties.

I'm not a big HP fan, so that would explain why I didn't recognise it!

Seeing the snow and marveling in the silence sounds lovely :)

Here are my answers:

1) The first time I cooked for someone else was when I cooked for my grandpa when I was 14, and I managed to cook a Shepherd's Pie for his birthday. I had some help from my grandma, but I miraculously made the meal and my grandpa loved it.

2) It was when I was younger, at my mom's friend's house, and I ate too much food, so I upchucked in the bathroom, and then I felt better.

3) Nope, nothing illegal.

4) When I was a little kid, with my family on a trip to Florida, when I first saw the ocean, and I remember seeing it in awe.

5) WTF indeed!

Shepherd's Pie as a first cooked meal is amazing! All the better as it was your grandpa's birthday. :)
