Stokesay Castle and church

We ventured out in the much improved weather for another castle visit, this time by car since we judged it a bit too far for small legs, especially small legs that had been on a 10.5 km hike the previous day.

Yay castle! It looks like a great place to explore.
The gatehouse is lovely.
And I approve of large slices of homemade cake! *lol*

The kids loved the castle, much more than Ludlow. I'm not sure how much the weather had to do with it, or the fact that there seemed to be so much more to explore despite it being smaller.

The cake was a big bonus! :D
