It was a very good schnitzel. One of the bloke's colleagues chose the gasthaus. He's Swiss. Apparently it pays to have a picky German-speaking gourmand with you when selecting your eateries!

Thanks! And yes, yes we did. It was almost 10 PM by the time we got the schnitzel so our appetites were very much up for it. It was also hot in the gasthaus cellar so the beer went down without touching the sides...!
