This is just ludicrous. I've gone to her office and waited more times now than I can count, and every time, she's a no-show

I'm certain it won't help, but I've adopted something of an attitude of resignation towards all of this. Those that do leave are rarely the ones who have been most active in seeking an exit.

After my dream, I would also very much like to see my family again. But the only thing that can be done is to wait, collect what information that we can, and simply hope that we are able to leave soon enough. I do envy you in finding something worthwhile to occupy your time; menial tasks and schoolwork are of little interest to me to be frank.

Right now what I'm most concerned about is our lack of a mayor.
