I've noticed that an array of my food is gone and I haven't, actually, been the one respsonsible for eating it.  The majority of my garlic oil? Eaten. My Jasmine and Basmati rices? Eaten. Now, I know I ate at least half of the Jasmine... But the Basmati? I used it, like, twice. And now there's less than a serving left. From a three-pound bag. ( Read more... )

ugh, work, life

Perhaps a lockable foot locker for the non-perishables like rice??? Course, then you would have to find room for said foot locker _-_

And, I'm so glad you're almost done at Cynthia's - words continue to escape me there...

A brilliant idea! Except yeah... No space. And it would require spending money which is part of my whole problem.

I KNOW! I am so unbelievably looking forward to it. I'm a prisoner at the bars, watching the sun rise. Soon, I'll be able to dance in it! :D

I would be happy to provide some food stuffs, and keep them in my room for you to harvest when needed. I started moving the important food items that I absolutely need to have some leftover of in that cabinet above the fridge. It keeps things safe from the food bandit, oddly. But that's a bad spot to put your stuff since you can't reach it :p

Well, he's replacing the garlic oil and I'll have to talk to him about the vegetables, since I'm 90% that (like the oil) he assumed it was raided and thus free for grabs. The rice is mostly neither here nor there, but I do need to get some more and there is precious little money.

For now, it's more a matter of the fact that money's going to be really tight next month and it's going to be hard enough to keep my head above water as it is, without buying groceries for more than one, you know?
